Media:
Magazine

Solution :

(Cheap and affordable for young parents, also younger generations tend to read magazines, so using a magazine to deliver the offer would be a good way for the younger parents to know.
Unit 7C - Task 11
The magazine cover that I have now created, I have used Photoshop to make it and I followed my block design closely, however I did make some changes when producing it on Photoshop. Firstly, the name of my magazine cover is in the same place as my design, as well as the cover lines which I wanted to put on the magazine are also there, but I did make a few changes and add more cover lines. The main image/feature is in the correct place. Overall, I did make a few changes, but they were not drastic and I do believe I followed the design well by looking at the finished product.
The use of the programme Photoshop helped me make my finished magazine cover look like a real product. The reason being is because the software contains features that make it look professional, also Photoshop is a popular software used by people who make magazines, etc. Lastly, having to take my own images made my magazine look like a real product because it did not look fake, however looked appropriate.
I do believe my magazine cover is suitable for the target audience, the reason being is because the title ‘ROSA ’ I believe is girly and I have used the font colour pink. Also the use of colours on the magazine cover, such as pinks, white and greys, I believe they are not too young but they are not too young.
When producing my magazine cover I did overcome some difficulties, such as the use of Photoshop I found difficult, however, I did gain some technical skills with Photoshop because I felt I needed to adjust to it and discover the different tools and eventually I found it easier to use.
Unit 18C - Task 7 and 8
When producing my Advertisement I did come a cross a difficulty, such as I had trouble cutting around the edges of the image so the background would be cut out. However in the end I did overcome this problem. Although I have used Photoshop before in previous work I do now believe I have a better understanding of the tools and features it has. Also as I had too take my own images for the advertisement; it gave me a better understanding of camera shots and angles.
Unit 18C - Task 5
When creating my perfume advertisement I had used technology to turn it in to a real product. The programme that I had used was Photoshop, by using this programme made my product more realistic, because there are certain tools on the programme which help make the product more realistic.
Unit 18C - Task 4
My finished product of the perfume advertisement matches very well to the block design I had created previously. For example everything that I included on my block design, I used in my real product that I have created on Photoshop and lastly, everything I wanted to include I used on the real product and I had put them in the same place were previously said.
Unit 18C – Task 2 and 3
My questionnaire has been answered about my perfume advertisement and there was a far more amount of girls answering it than boys between the ages 17-25, the reason I believe this is because my target audience is girls, which means the way I have designed my advertisement matches my target audience group, which is a good thing, however, I do believe that o have made my advertisement a bit to mature for my target audience which I was hoping for.
The people who were answering my magazine a majority of them said that the features on my magazine which I included do attract there attention. I believe this is a good comment because this means that people will be able to notice it, which means the perfume will get sold easier.
The question I asked the audience was, what font is suitable for a magazine name, and most of the people who answered said ‘Innocence’ I do believe this is a positive because it means I have chose the correct features to match the title name. Also I asked what font would be suitable for the title and people answered ‘Broadway’, however, I did use ‘Script MT Bold’ because I believe that the font looks more professional and girly.
I also asked which image would be suitable for a main image on the advertisement and 90% of the people who answered the questionnaire chose the one that I have used. This means that I had made a good choice because It matches the theme I was trying to go for which was ‘innocence’.
Lastly, I asked if the block design which I created would be a suitable layout for the advertisement, I gave them 2 options, yes or no, many of the people answered yes, this means that overall I chose all the correct features for my magazine.
Unit 7C – Task 9 and 10
The majority of the people that answered my questionnaire were girls. The reason I believe there was more girls than boys answering the questionnaire is because as my magazine target audience was girls and the magazine looked girly, which I doubt boys would even pick up the magazine meaning they wouldn’t answer the questionnaire.
The age range which most answered my questionnaire comes from the age bracket of 17-30. My target audience was 16, however there was more people of the age 17 mark answering, this could mean that my magazine was a bit too mature for my target audience.
The people answering my questionnaire said that they would by £2.50-£3.00 for my magazine. Considering my magazine price was only £1.50 I believe my magazine looks more professional and well presented!
The people that were answering my questionnaire said that they believe the name ‘dolled UP’ was most suitable for my magazine, however I did not use that name, I chose ‘Rosa’ as I believed that it has a better meaning to it.
Lastly, most of the people answering the questionnaire believed that the image I used as a main cover image was most suitable, I believe I made the correct decision when choosing the main cover image because of the result of the questionnaire answers!

Unit 18C Advertising Production- Task 1
Unit 18C
Advertising Production
Task 1
I believe
that my perfume advertisement does fit all of the CAP codes used by the
Advertising Standards Agency. The reason I think this is because I have not
used any inappropriate language or images within the advertisement. Also I am
not making any false claims about my product I am simply trying to create a
mood such as feeling fresh and purified. However, I am not saying that if you
wear the perfume you will ‘innocent’ it is just the name of the perfume.
Unit 18C - Advertising Production - Task 6
Unit
18C Advertising Production
Task
6
I
do believe my perfume advertisement is suitable for my target audience because
the name of the advertisement ‘Innocence’ can be a good example of a young
teenager. Also the image that I have used for the main feature suits my target
audience profile because the image shows 2 girls with their backs towards the
camera walking through a forest. This could show the personality of a young
teenager with the shyness and the forest setting showing purity.
